International Travel for Schools

Information for Parents

An overseas visit for any person is a brave new step. If it is the first time to a new country; first time on your own, or especially if it is a trip to a country with a vast cultural and economic difference, a trip for a young person will always be an anxious time for parents.

A school residential will provide children with countless opportunities to experience an education outside of the classroom. A school that pursues this type of experiential learning for their students will want to ensure that any residential is a safe and fun experience for all.

At ITS we provide this level of safety and assurance away from the normal confines of a school allowing groups to feel relaxed, safe and confident while being given the opportunity to stretch themselves outside of their comfort zone in a controlled environment. ITS believe that through the activities and services we provide, we are opening a number of doorways to other cultures and ways of life that are becoming ever more accessible and important to the understanding of the world today.

Through our services we hope that all of our participants will have an enjoyable, rewarding and educational experience in developing the whole person. A residential is a time for all individuals to be on a level playing field where a group will learn to cope with cultural changes and differences and have a great time exploring new people and countries. An education is a means of preparing an individual for life and we feel that any school residential will play a vital role in this development. The opportunities are now here to take advantage of and many times we are told by parents that they wish they had had the same opportunities in their time at school.

Children will always come home from a residential with full of stories and experiences to share with you. Much of the feedback we receive from schools is based on student feedback, but if you have any positive or constructive points you would like to make based on your own children’s experiences, we are ready to listen. Our customers are both you and the children so we want to ensure we can maintain our high quality of provision.
