The role of ITS is to support and assist schools in the planning and preparation of a residential trip for its students.

Many teachers are aware of the high input required in planning a school visit for a large group of students. Logistically it can be a daunting mission and is one of the main reasons why schools resist the need to spend a large amount of time on running a school residential.

ITS can alleviate these pressures and we provide a number of ways in which we can help you in planning the perfect trip for your students:

• Pre-departure planning and assistance

o Providing exemplar itineraries

o Tailor-making a programme to suit your students needs

o Providing a completed Risk Assessment

o Providing a Teacher Information Pack – this can be used either as a student pack or as a presentation aid.

o 1 Cost for each person – fully inclusive – package price only: ITS do not organise flights, visas and personal insurance.

• Full Time Guide

o An ITS guide to liaise and deal directly with hotels, transport, activities and restaurants. We aim to ensure that you and your group benefit fully from the trip without the usually problems associated with a residential, especially in a less economically developed country.

o Photographer – our ITS guide will make a record of photographs of the whole trip for your memories of the trip

• Post Trip support:

o Even after a trip there can be items that need dealing with: extra activity costs, reimbursements, feedback, etc

o Our ITS guide will provide a bank of photos from you trip which can be displayed at school and given to the students.
